Gambling should cost what you set aside for fun and nothing more. These tools and contacts are here for the day that stops being true.
What you can set
- Deposit limits by week or month. Lowering a limit works at once; raising one waits seven days.
- Cooling-off for a day, a week, a month or three months, with the account paused throughout.
- Self-exclusion for 1, 3, 5 or 10 years, or permanently. With no period chosen, the default is one year.
Ask live chat for any of them. A self-exclusion takes effect at once and cannot be reversed before its end date.
GAMSTOP and blocking software
We do not belong to GAMSTOP, and we hold no UK Gambling Commission licence. A GAMSTOP registration therefore leaves an account with us open, so request our own self-exclusion as well. Blocking software such as Gamban stops gambling sites loading on your phone and computer.
Warning signs
- Chasing a loss with a larger or faster deposit
- Spending money meant for bills, rent or food
- Playing longer than planned, or hiding it from people close to you
- Borrowing, or selling things, to keep going
- Feeling anxious or low when you cannot play
One of these is reason enough to pause and talk to someone.
